Ride some of the best motorcycle trips in the World
A Thrilling 5-Day Motorcycle Adventure in Transylvania

Embark on one of the most unforgettable motorcycle holidays in Transylvania with this Dracula-themed 5-day motorbike tour. Designed for adventure seekers and thrill-lovers, this short break takes you on some of the most spectacular motorcycle roads in the world, winding through the heart of a land steeped in myth, legend, and haunting beauty.

Discover the real-life locations connected to Vlad the Impaler - history’s infamous Dracula - as you explore a region known for its dramatic landscapes, medieval castles, and centuries-old stories of vampires and dragons.

Renowned globally for its mountain passes, Transylvania offers jaw-dropping scenery and exhilarating rides that are every biker's dream. Along the way, indulge in authentic Romanian cuisine, perfectly paired with local drinks. And since it's a Dracula tour, expect plenty of garlic on the menu - along with a fiery taste of țuică, the traditional plum brandy that not only lifts your spirits but (legend has it) keeps vampires at bay.

This is more than just a ride - it's a bold journey through mystery, history, and folklore.

Important note: Silver, wooden crosses, and stakes are not included—bring your own vampire protection!

Dare to ride through Dracula’s homeland - if you’ve got the nerve!

Advice for Canadians traveling abroad

According with Canadian government the following advice are to be followed:

Before you go

  • Confirm your passport is valid for 6 months from when you think your trip will end. Don’t get stranded.
  • Get comprehensive travel insurance to cover you and your gear. Get insurance that’s right for you and covers your activities in the places you’ll go. Remember, regardless of how healthy and fit you are, if you can’t afford travel insurance, you can’t afford to travel.
  • Consider your physical and mental health. Get advice from your doctor if you’re unsure.
  • See your doctor or travel clinic 8 weeks before you go for a basic health check
  • Check if your medication is legal and available in the places you’re going. Take enough of your prescribed medicines to last the whole trip. Carry copies of your prescription and a letter from your doctor.
  • Tell your bank you’re travelling and check if your cards will work. Have several payment options.
  • If you’ll drive overseas check out the local traffic laws and practices. You’re likely to need an International Driving Permit (IDP) as well as your Australian driver’s license.
  • Share your itinerary with friends or family members. Give them copies of your passport

Travel insurance

Holidays don’t always go as planned. If you’re going overseas, travel insurance is as important as a passport. Without it, you or your family could suffer financially if things go wrong. No matter who you are, where you’re going and what you’re doing, get insurance.

Travel insurance is especially important if you need medical assistance. Healthcare overseas can be very expensive. Most countries won’t give you free care, or subsidies the cost of your care. You, or your insurer, must usually pay full price.

  1. Wendy J.:

My hubby and I have had an amazing 5 days riding in Transylvania. In addition to the great motorbike roads we loved the stops at castles and medieval citadels connected with Vlad the Impaller. The food was great and the staff was really friendly. I would do this again. Thank you for a great time.
